Seatorque 3000 Hour Service |
Removing PropellersFor us to access the Seatorque shaft seals the propellers must be removed so that we can gain access to the rear seal carrier at the back of the shaft. We removed the large props using our specialised tools to make our lives easier and quicker for the customer. We were then able to remove the rear seal carrier to drain and flush all the old oil out of the system. We also discovered a crack in the propeller nut which we took to our machinist to get a new one made specifically for the boat. | ![]() |

Cardan Shaft RemovalDue to rust formed by water in the engine area we removed all the Cardan shafts, checked the universal joints and we noticed they had water ingress so we had them replaced to ensure that there are no concerns in the future about rusted joints exploding in the engine bay. They were repainted, greased and promptly reinstalled. | ![]() |

Launch DayOnce we were all done with the propellers back on and everything refilled and in place we were ready to launch and take the boat back to berth. All went smoothly and the customer was good to head over to Fiji. | ![]() |
