Engine Lifted From Vessel

The boat was on its way back from Gulf Harbour after having the cutless bearings replaced, while on the way back the port engine was losing power, then the owner shut the engine down and came back on one engine. It was then discovered that the aftercooler seals had failed and had hydrolocked the engine. We removed the head and noticed water in the cylinders. The rest of the engine was pulled out while the boat was on the hardstand and fully reconditioned.

Once the reconditioned engine was ready we got it back in the boat and secured the engine, and came back on the other motor so as to save time and cost on the hardstand. All final work was carried out on the berth.
